XBOX 360 Repair

My DVD drive was making excessive noise while running. While the problem wasn't too noticeable playing games (the loading was noisy, but only random disc seeks while playing) but was extremely annoying while watching movies.
I contacted the Microsoft support team and they indicated they would repair it under warranty, but it may take 4 weeks before I could use my Xbox again.
I sent the Xbox in on Sunday May 6 and to my surprise, 3 days later a replacement was on my door step.
Apparently they replaced the box instead of repairing it. That's great with me, the sound is gone and I'm happy again!
They also included a free month of XBL (that I can add to my existing subscription) and a pretty nice letter. Kudos to them for getting it right.
